The Magazine

Above is the front covers of two issues of "Eclectrik Rock". As you can see the basic layout of the cover remains the same with the logo in the right hand corner and the main articles featured in the list justified to the right. The main change between each issues cover is the picture used on the front and also the colour of the magazine title.

To the right are some of the featured articles in the magazine and examples of the fonts and the grid used. I wanted the magazine to be easy to read since the size of the issues are 20cm x 20cm (to be able to be carried in handbags and guitar cases and read on the move) this small size needs to be considered when designing the layout. Therefore I have used a lot of white space to prevent information overload and for the text to be visually appealing.
